Fixed Price
Experience IT prefers fixed-price projects to daily rates. In this we differ from most of our competitors. We prefer a commercial arrangement which provides certainty - for you and for us! To achieve this we need to understand fully what is expected of us and what you are looking to achieve and in what kind of timeframe.
We will, sometimes, work on a Time & Materials basis but, quite frankly, it is our experience that the uncertainty relating to costs introduces the wrong types of pressures with clients and is often the root of where projects go wrong.
We don’t want to be a monkey on your back - even if we are making money doing so!
Lets tell it like it is - T&M is a teriffic deal for the consulting firm and really bad for the client. PERIOD. All cost and time risk is transferred 100% to the client. It is an incentive for incompetence and time-wasting.
